It makes me angry when people wait to apologize until the very last minute, when the only reason for apologizing is to save face.
Dr. Gates sent flowers and a note to the lady who called the police when she thought someone was breaking into his house. If it HAD been a break-in, wouldn't he have appreciated her involvment? And where are the flowers to the police who responded so quickly?
This guy is just an arrogant, racist jerk. And the president is just like him.
